“No one can be excluded
from the mercy of God.”
Next Study Coming this Fall
Pope Francis recently commented,
“Christianity spreads through the JOY of the disciples who know that they are loved and saved.”
Our Church helps us to know that we are loved and saved. Spending time in the Word helps us to know that we are loved and saved. Growing in our faith helps us to spread that JOY with others, to be the disciples Christ calls us to be.
Pope Francis, in his Encyclical Letter Light of Faith, instructs, “the Church never takes faith for granted, but knows this gift from God needs to be nourished and reinforced so it can continue to guide her pilgrim way.” The AFF programs at St. Mary of Gostyn are designed to “nourish” and “reinforce” our faith. Nourish and reinforce your faith this year.
Spend time in lively conversation and discussion. Spend time with the Word. St. Mary’s Café features a unique style of study which engages your mind, faith, experience, and imagination, leading you to read, reflect, and respond. If you are new to a Bible Study experience, or are an avid Bible student, St. Mary’s Café is right for you. All in all, you will discover the powerful and personal truth of God’s Word, and practical inspiration for your life.
“If faith is to be strong and healthy, it must be constantly nourished by the Word of God”
–Pope Francis 10/21/2014
“We strive to learn more about Jesus, receiving Him fully into our lives and taking seriously our responsibility to share His love with others.”
