Alpha Youth Series
Alpha Youth Series Trailer
What is Alpha Youth?
Alpha Youth gives teens the opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a fun, relaxed, safe, and friendly setting. The Alpha Youth course meets once a week for 9 weeks and consists of 3 things: FOOD. VIDEO. DISCUSSION. It starts off with free food and some sort of opening game or icebreaker, then there is a video to watch about a different aspect of the Christian Faith, and lastly, a time to break into small group discussion, where teens get to be really open and honest about what they saw in the video, and what they are going through in their daily lives.
During the discussion, everyone is welcome to contribute their opinions and no question is considered hostile or too simple.
Alpha Youth is for everyone – anyone in high school is welcome, and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge or belief in Christianity.
Why Alpha Youth?
Alpha Youth provides a safe place for high schoolers to have fun, be themselves, and be honest in discussing big questions such as life, faith, and meaning, as well as having a place where they can encounter Jesus. The small group setting allows anyone to dive deeper into an understanding of the Christian faith and discuss it in an environment of open conversation and affirmation. Alpha allows teens already active in their faith to invite their friends to Alpha so that they can share Jesus with them!
Can I bring my friend to Alpha?
YES! All high school students are invited to come, and we ENCOURAGE you to bring a friend (or multiple!)
Students of all faiths, no faith, and backgrounds are welcome.
