Lent 2021
TUESDAY AND FRIDAY LENTEN OPPORTUNITIES.
This Lent we will be offering several opportunities to enter into this season of reflection, renewal and preparation.
There are many ways to mark Lent, ways to slow down enough to encounter that “silent sound” when we know the Lord is present (1 Kings 19:12). How will you find it? What is getting in the way of your relationship with the Lord; how can you remove it? How can you reach out to others? Who needs not only your prayers, but also your almsgiving—your assistance and generosity? Seek this Lent, the “silent sound” as the Lord creates a new heart in you.
We hope this Lenten offerings on Tuesday and Friday evenings will help provide a starting point to deepen your relationship with Christ. We hope you’ll allow the love and mercy of the Lord to lead you on an amazing journey this Lent. Then, on Easter morning, you can positively point to the ways in which this Lenten season has deepened and expanded your relationship with the Lord, your family and your community.
Due to the pandemic gathering size limitations, registration is required for all events, via Sign Up. Links are available here, or from the front banners of the St. Mary’s website. Please call the front office at 630.969.1063 with any questions on the Sign Up.
