Application Process 

Step 1: Learn more Expand

Please complete our Inquiry Form so we can email you digital brochures and other information about our school.  You can also request a school tour through our inquiry form.

Step 2: Schedule a family tour Expand

When we receive your inquiry form, we will call you to schedule a personalized tour for your family.  If you prefer to speak with us first, please call our school office:

Step 3: Complete and submit the Enrollment Form Expand
Step 4: Reserve your child's space by paying the registration fee Expand
Step 5: If applying for financial aid, complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Application Expand

Step 6: Receive the good news! Expand

You will receive a welcome letter and enrollment packet (containing medical forms and other documents) in the mail.

Please complete and return these documents promptly.  Upon receipt of this information, we will add your family’s contact information to our school communication database to ensure you receive relevant information about the first day of school, your child’s classroom, etc.

Admissions calendar

For admission during a current school year:

We accept enrollment forms on a rolling basis, subject to seat availability within each grade.

For admission in the upcoming school year: 

We begin accepting enrollment forms at the end of January.  Please submit your enrollment form as soon as possible, because some of our grades, such as our preschool, fill up four to six months before the beginning of the upcoming school year.

Grant and financial aid applications:  Applications are submitted online through FACTS Management from January 1 – March 1 for the upcoming school year.

What is your admission policy? Expand

No student shall be denied admission to St. Mary of Gostyn School on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin or gender.

Students entering Kindergarten - must be five years old on or before September 1

Students entering First Grade - must be six years old on or before September 1

Does my child need to be Catholic to enroll in your school?  Expand

We welcome students from all religious backgrounds.

Do you accept transfer students?  Expand

Yes.  When applying, students in grades 1-8 must present a copy of the last report card and a form to release information from the previous school attended. The principal will interview new students entering grades 6 to 8. All students will be accepted for a probation period if they are in good standing with the transferring school.

Many fees (such as our Home and School Association fees for activities) are included in the tuition. These fees are billed separately from tuition through SMART Tuition.

New student enrollment fee
To reserve your child's place in our school, there is a nonrefundable registration/curriculum fee of $300 for Preschool students and $400 for students K-8.  For children entering our preschool, $100 of this fee will be applied to your tuition.  For students entering grades K-8, these fees are applied toward one child’s book/supply/technology fee.

Annual re-enrollment fee
Each spring, current school families pay a nonrefundable $400 re-enrollment fee to hold their child’s place in the school for the upcoming academic year. For children entering our preschool, $100 of this fee will be applied to your tuition.  For students entering grades K-8, these fees are applied toward one child’s book/supply/technology fee.   All fees must be paid before school starts.

Technology fee
$100 – (grade 4-8)

Sacramental fee
$60 – First Communion fee (grade 2)
$60 – Confirmation fee (grade 8)

Graduation fee
To be determined each year (grade 8)
