As Downers Grove’s oldest Catholic school, we have provided a superior faith-based education for families in the western suburbs since 1897. Tour Our School

We invite families to visit SMG for a “Talk & Tour” which typically takes about 30 minutes. During the school year these tours can be scheduled Monday through Friday. Please call (630) 968-6155 to schedule your tour today!

Shadow Days

We invite students in grades 1 to 8 to spend a school day on our campus as a “shadow student.” Shadow students attend all classes with a current student. Available during the school year from 7:30am to 2:30pm.

Catholic Schools Week

St. Mary of Gostyn holds special information sessions for potential families in January during Catholic Schools Week. This is when we begin enrolling students for the upcoming school year.

Application Process

  • Complete our Inquiry Form to learn more

  • After we receive your Inquiry Form, we will schedule a tour for your family

  • Complete and submit the Enrollment Form

  • Reserve your child’s space by paying the registration fee

  • Complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application (if applying for financial aid)

  • You will receive a Welcome Letter and Enrollment Packet!
